Membership
City of the World Membership Levels:
Artisan Members: Exhibit at the gallery. Any local artistian is welcome to apply. $40 per month to show, plus commission on sales.
Student Members: Exhibit at the gallery. $20 per month, plus commission on sales.
Community Members: Membership to the gallery for Art Lovers, Arts Educators or other non-profit entities. $25 per month. Members join the mailing list and are given discounts on classes and gallery events. Members are also welcome to use the building for non-profit meetings or gatherings at a discount, if the schedule allows. Please inquire with Roz.
Featured Artist: $100 per month plus commission. Your work will be exhibited in the front room and you may hold an open house on the Thursday before First Friday as well as be present every Saturday during the month, if you wish. You pay all costs for the First Thursday opening and agree to help promote your month at the gallery via email and/or phone calls.
C.O.T.W. commission on sales is based on the amount of art you display and its selling price. Your commission will be based on the average price of your work.
All artisans who show work will be given a link in our e-newletter and a webpage in the “Showing” section.
Patron of the Arts: A one-time, tax deductible donation of $100 or more to support C.O.T.W. and our mission to bring art to everyone. Mention on our website.
Gallery Sponsorship: $500 tax deductible donation includes a credit plaque on your sponsored wall at the gallery, and a link to your site from our website and in issues of our e-newsletter.
Board of Directors: There is a $1,000 tax deductible donation to join and support the mission of C.O.T.W. to bring art to children and support local artists.
I am currently showing at the Arts Factory as I have been since Sept. 2009 but don’t know if I will continue. Either way I do have a large body of work so inventory is not an issue. I have been looking into other venues and would like to come in and meet with you and see your gallery as I have not had time in 2009.
