Looking for an art class for your children and/or yourself this fall? Are you a teacher who needs PDE credits? Look no further!

Classes are again available through CSN. Teachers, get credits for PDE certification. Classes will be held at the gallery.

Roberto Rico is teaching yet another popular “Drawing for All” course for 12 to 16 year olds between 10:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m., and “Horses and Animals” for 7 to 12 year olds between 12:15 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. $75.00 for each course. This is a dynamic way for children to express themselves. Gather them up and get them enrolled. Both classes take place at the gallery. Call Roz at 523-5306 to enroll.

Dates: Saturdays - October 4, 11, 18 and 25. A second session for both classes is scheduled for November 1, 8, 15 and 22. Same time, same place, same price.

Roz Knight will have PAINTING- All Levels classes this fall at the gallery. This course covers all levels of experience using various media techniques with acrylics, oils and watercolor. Experiment with canvas board and paper painting surfaces. Supply list to be discussed at first class. This course is approved for one PDE credit for art specialists. Roz will also be teaching a DRAWING- All Levels class. Whether you are a beginner or have had a lot of drawing experience, this class will cater to all levels of interest. Kristi Watson will have another SILVERSMITHING class. You will create jewelry items of pure silver (99.9%) through the use of art clay silver and/or gold in formulas such as clay, paste, syringe and paper types. You will experience first hand the versatility, ease and beauty of metal clay in jewelry and art objects. Emphasis will be on raw clay and green ware techniques, use of various tools, inclusions such as diachronic glass and stones and firing and finishing methods.
