In the autumn of 1991 F. Andrew Taylor moved to Las Vegas for a couple of years before heading out to the West Coast. At least that was the plan two decades ago. In that time he has dabbled in a number of unusual occupations including freelance butt sketch artist, health columnist and stunt driver. He was the production designer for the feature film “Thor at the Bus Stop.”
Taylor has worked as an illustrator and writer for several valley publications, including three alt weeklies. His work has appeared in numerous sequential art anthologies, including “Murder Can Be Fun Illustrated,” “Don’t Shoot! It’s Only Comics” and the Eisner-nominated “Spark Generators.” He has had three solo comics and the graphic novel “Beer and Roaming in Las Vegas” published by SLG Publishing.
Taylor’s work appears regularly at the collective showplace, “City of the World Gallery” in the Las Vegas Arts District.
Taylor is an award-winning cartoonist, writer, photographer, illustrator and goat dresser.
He can eat a large chocolate chip cookie without using his hands.
