Patty Clark

Patty Clark grew up in Las Vegas and attended UNLV and became a teacher.  In Las Vegas she married and had two sons.   During her career as an art teacher, she was active with the Art Educators of Nevada and participated in many art shows with other art educators.   She received her Masters from Lesley University in 1996. She has studied and taught acrylic and watercolor techniques with the Society of Decorative Painters and as a member of Silver State Tole & Decorative Painters.  Her work has been exhibited in various shows and exhibitions,  and in a solo show in 2010.  In the past much of her art included weaving baskets, making books, assemblage, alternative photography, ceramics, painting, and drawing.  After retiring from teaching school in 2009, she now devotes her time to painting with acrylics, watercolor, inks, commissions, altered art, and mixed media collage.  Patty enjoys exhibiting her work in shows and currently can be found at City of the World Art Gallery and at Dinosaurs and Roses Resale & Art Galleries.
