Lynne is a local artist, graphic designer and illustrator who has work has appeared in several publications in the Las Vegas area

She says about herself:

“I was born in Northern England about a minute ago, or so it seems. I love creating art. I have always done some kind of art and always will. I’ve worked in the graphics field in TV, advertising and publishing.

I love the texture you can achieve with colored pencils. The paper support used also plays a large part in the end result, I sometimes use a high tooth watercolor paper and do a color wash before beginning the drawing.

I also enjoy acrylic painting. I love the vibrant colors which are quite a contrast to the gentleness of colored pencils. “
